RoHS Compliant

RoHS is the acronym for Restriction of Hazardous Substances. RoHS, also known as Directive 2002/95/EC, originated in the European Union and restricts the use of specific hazardous materials found in commercial and electronic products, including lead (Pb), mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), and hexavalent chromium (CrVI).
Electro-Space Fabricators, Inc. is a RoHS compliant company selling sub-assemblies and components directly to EU countries, or selling to resellers, distributors, or integrators that in turn sell products to EU countries.

REACH Compliant

Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) compliance is a regulation to improve the protection of human health and the environment from the risks that can be posed by chemicals.

Manufacturing and distribution companies are now implementing appropriate systems to measure, track and manage chemicals in their products and supply chains.

Operating with ISO 9002 Standards

ISO 9002 is an industry-standard created by the International Organization for Standardization. It stands for “Model for quality assurance in production, installation and servicing.”

ITAR Registered

Electro-Space Fabricators, Inc. is registered with the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (U.S. Department of State) under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

The International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) is a set of regulations that govern the export and re-export of certain controlled commodities, services, and, most importantly, technologies. In order to be controlled under ITAR as a defense article, a given component, subcomponent, part, assembly, subassembly, or integrated system must have been specifically designed, developed, configured, adapted, or modified for a military application controlled under the United States Munitions List.

To become ITAR compliant a company must understand and abide by the ITAR as it applies to their USML-linked goods or services. The company itself is certifying that they operate in accordance with the ITAR when they accept being a supplier to the USML prime exporter.

Aluminum Chemical Film

Electro-Space has been approved by Lockheed Martin for Mil-DTL-5541 Aluminum Chemical Film for Type I and Type II, which includes ESF standard RoHs chem film application conveyorized line.
